Recent Chapter News!
We are a Chapter of more than 50 members based in Waterloo, Iowa. We primarily serve the Waterloo-Cedar
Falls metro area and surrounding communities.
EAA Chapter 227 holds a number of events throughout the year.
The first Saturday of every month we get together for breakfast and hangar talk at the Ramada Inn Downtown Waterloo. The third Friday
of the month is the regular business meeting followed by a program. Yearly events include our Chapter picnic, Fall Chili Supper,
and our Christmas Party. Other events include fly-in breakfasts, group fly-outs, field trips, and Young Eagles Day.
We
enjoy the company of fellow aviation enthusiasts and invite you to join us at any Chapter event where we could answer any
questions you might have about the Chapter and how you can join.
