We are a Chapter of about 100 members based in Waterloo, Iowa. We primarily serve the Waterloo-Cedar Falls metro area and surrounding communities.



EAA Chapter 227 holds a number of events throughout the year. The first Saturday of every month we get together for breakfast and hangar talk. During the winter months, this takes place at Bonanza Restaurant off University Avenue in Cedar Falls and during the warmer months, takes place at various announced locations(Check the events section)! The third Thursday of the month is the regular business meeting followed by a program. Yearly events include our Chapter picnic, Ladies Night Out, and our Christmas Party. Other events include fly-in breakfasts, group fly-outs, field trips, and Young Eagles Day.
